Netflix star Penn Badgley’s baby joy as wife is pregnant with twins
Netflix star Penn Badgley’s wife Domino Kirke-Badgley has announced the couple are expecting twins in a “plot twist”.
You star Penn, 38, and his wife Domino, 41, are already proud parents to a son named James, who the couple welcomed in 2020. Meanwhile, Domino also has a son Cassius from a previous relationship. And now Domino has announced their family is expanding as she revealed she is pregnant with twins.
Singer Domino shared the news as she posted a photo of her bump on Instagram. One snap sees Penn kissing her bump alongside their son James and the second sees Penn and James posing together while Domino grasps her blossoming bump.
In the caption, the You star’s wife announced: “Babies #3 and #4 coming this Summer! Talk about a PLOT TWIST! Spontaneous twins are beyond magical. We are stunned. We are in awe. Can’t think of anyone else I’d rather be on this ride with @pennbadgley #handsoffthewheel #monoditwins”.
The comments section of the sweet announcement was soon filled with messages of congratulations as one wrote: “omgggg congratulationsssss” and another said: “What?!!! Oh my goodness Domino! Congratulations!!! What a wild ride. So happy for you all. Sending hugs and love!”
“Tell me why I jumped and got so excited that I ran to tell my best friend! So happy for you like you’re my fav cousins haha congrats to both of you!,” another penned while a fourth wrote: “Ohhhhhh wow! Congratulations TIMES TWO!”
After sharing the happy news, Domino posted a video of herself performing on stage while clutching her bump on her Instagram story. The sophisticated soon-to-be mum-of-three is wearing a black dress with lace sleeves as she sings in front of a live band on stage.
Ahead of the performance, Domino teased an ‘announcement’ as she posted a throwback photo of herself performing on stage and wrote in the caption: “So excited to be back at @theowlbk with the best band ever @moon_mullins__ @eliotkrimsky and @ryandugre TOMORROW, Feb 27th doors at 7:30pm show at 8pm. I also have a little surprise announcement to make Not to be missed! Dana Lyn’s keyboard trio will be opening! Suggestion donation $15. Til soon! photos by @emilioherce”.
Penn and Domino are already proud parents to their son James, who was welcomed into the world during the Covid-19 pandemic. The You actor previously gushed about his son during an appearance on the The Jess Cagle Show in October 2021. He said at the time: “The great bounty that I got out of it is that our baby … has only been with us. He loves it.”
Penn added: “He’s very happy, he’s very, very joyful, and we had the opportunity to be with him in a way that we wouldn’t have.”
